Steps
- Register with Emirates ID (residents) or passport (visitors) at a store, kiosk or through the app.
- Insert the SIM, restart the phone, wait for the network SMS - that is the activation signal.
- For a postpaid number transfer, complete the port request with the losing operator details.
- If the phone shows "no service", test the SIM in another handset to separate device from line.
- Visitors: a tourist line has a fixed life; extend or convert before it expires.
